Versa not displaying text or challenge steps

I have a versa that counts steps fine but won't show the steps in a challenge. Also I no longer receive text alerts or call notifications to the device. Using messenger+

Any ideas?

Hi @EBleffer  What phone are you using? Notifications have been upset by recent phone updates in some cases, but need to know what phone to help you.

The not showing steps in  hallenges is more likely to be an app issue. Try uninstalling the Fitbit  app on your phone and then reinstall it and log back in. That fixed my challenge steps issue.

Samsung Galaxy S7. I have done the uninstall and reinstall method a few times and still doesn't fix the issues.

Hmm the S7 should work. As far as notifications go, is your app updated to the latest version? It should be if you have uninstalled and reinstalled but check it is 3.14.

Yes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice and just checked.... the
version is 3.16. I have been having issue with test message notifications
for well over a month but the step challenge not syncing is new. I feel
like I have exhausted all options of correction...

I am using a Samsung S10 Plus.   It worked fine for 1 day.  I received text messages and phone call alerts, but nothing on the 2nd day.   Although, it does still syncs to my phone with the steps and heart rate.   Thanks!

Hi @EBleffer   Check on your phones settings that the lock screen is set to display notifications. I have had a phone update change this on me before, but if that doesnt help then I think your only option is to contact Support and hope they can help you sort it out.
