I bought a Fitbit Versa in January 2019 and it is paired to a Lenovo android tablet. The tablet connects to the net via my home wifi or various public networks on the rare occasions I leave my home. I do not use a smartphone.
After a few weeks of random errors like my step count more than trebling (while sat at home in front of my computer like every day) from my daily usual of 3,000 steps to around 9,000 steps or refusing to synch - I decided to try resetting the Versa.
I deleted the app from my tablet.
I did a factory reset twice.
I reinstalled the app.
I was unable to pair with my tablet (it would find the Versa but repeatedly lost connection after finding it).
Tablet was fully charged.
Versa was fully charged and in the charging dock about 5cm (2 inches) from the tablet.
If I paired the Versa via the tablet's bluetooth settings first, the app would connect to the Versa
At 7:56am this morning the Versa and tablet showed the same time.
I had been visiting a relative and drove 150km (90 miles) home, my tablet showed the time as 9:38, the Versa showed 8:45
Once home I have been sat at my computer
At 11:30 (tablet and real time) my Versa told me I needed another 240 steps to meet my 9-10am activity goal.
At 11:33 my Versa gave me a flashing light celebration for making 250 steps despite not moving in that time.
My account shows the last synch took place yesterday at 3:34pm
Is there anything I can do about this?

Hi @AutisticArtist Try restarting your Versa several times and see if that improves things Restart your tracker
The 250 step it counted could possibly have been hand movements it thought were steps, as you sat at your computer. In any case give the restarts a try and see what happens.

I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with Customer Service yesterday and managed to get the FitBit resynching after 4 or 5 factory resets, uninstalling and reinstalling the app a couple more times
The time on the watch was accurate when I went to bed last night at 11:30pm but when I got up at 8:05 the fitbit showed time as 7:51. Now at 1:03pm the Fitbit shows 12:40.
I think it's time to take it back to OfficeWorks 😞
