My Versa is no longer receiving text, whatsapp & iMessage notifications. I've had my versa since October and for about the first month it worked then all of a sudden it stopped. If a call comes through my Versa detects that, but not text and messages. I've tried 'forgetting' bluetooth device, restoring my Versa, removing the app from my phone and reinstalling but nothing works. Anyone have any suggestions? Is it something to do with the latest iOS update on my iPhone? HELP!

@Marlowpuff At this point, it's either contacting Customer Support or waiting for firmware 3.0 which is being rolled out right now. It's fitbit OS seriously rebuilt, so hopefully it addresses this issue and plays nicely with new iOS.
Best Answer@Marlowpuff phone model and OS? Also, please share your Versa firmware version and Fitbit mobile app version.

@Marlowpuff It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! i'm sorry to hear that your Versa is no longer getting notifications. The information that requested my friend @Marrrmaduke will help us to determine the cause of the issue.
On an aside note, have you tried setting up your Versa as a new device?
Looking forward to your response! ![]()
Best Answer@Marrrmaduke thanks for the reply! Phone model is iPhone 6s which is running iOS 12.1.1 - Versa version is 32.32.12.19 and Fitbit app version is 2.84 (807)
Best Answer@JuanJoFitbit yes, have reinstalled the Versa as a new device a couple of times, but still hasn't fixed the problem.
Best Answer@Marlowpuff Please try the following:
Note: Make sure Always Connected is turned ON in your Fitbit mobile app.
Best AnswerThanks @Marrrmaduke, have tried all of that (even did it twice) and I'm still not receiving any text, messenger or whatsapp notifications.
Best Answer@Marlowpuff You can also try toggling ON/OFF the notifications for the messaging apps within Fitbit mobile app. Btw, is your tracker paired with other bluetooth device, e.g. ipad? Also, do you have any other fitbit devices linked to your account that could hijack the notifications? I heard of it happening for Charge 3...
Best Answer@Marrrmaduke have tried toggling notifications on Versa on/off and restarting Versa and syncing...but nothing seems to work. Such a pain! Just checked my bluetooth settings and I'm not connected to any other devices. I receive call notifications, but that's it.

@alliebeal Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! Regarding your inquiry, the volume of your phone doesn't affect the notifications feature on your Versa. Does your Versa receive notifications when the volume is turned up?
In the meantime, try the following: Turn off the notifications feature, close the app and restart your phone. After this, open the app and turn on the notifications again and see if the issue gets resolved.
Keep me posted on the outcome! ![]()
Best AnswerI am thinking that it is something to do with the IOS 12.1.1 update. My versa was working without an issue until I performed an update on my iPhone a few days ago. Now I am having issues with syncing, locating my versa and no notifications. I am wondering if there will be an update soon as the Versa is not doing its job. I have actually done a factory reset today in the hope that it would fix it up, but I still have the same problem. I had the same thing occur a few years ago with my Charge and never had the situation addressed properly.
Best Answer@SunsetRunner I will be honest. iOS 12 is bumpy but my Versa works with both iPhone 7 (not updated to iOS 12) and iPhone XS Max running the newest iOS. Usually the above procedure puts everything on track. Give it a shot.
Best AnswerTo clarify this:
"In the meantime, try the following: Turn off the notifications feature, close the app and restart your phone. After this, open the app and turn on the notifications again and see if the issue gets resolved." fixed it
@Marrrmaduke Unfortunately must of my problems stem from my phone not being able to locate the versa/ or versa not responding. I have Fitbit helping me currently with this problem so hopefully it can be quickly resolved. Thanks for your help.
Best AnswerMy versa is not receiving text messages. I have an iPhone X. IOS 12.3.1
I have restarted, deleted the app, disconnected, turned notifications on/off and am still not receiving text messages. I am receiving notifications for calls and every other app
