I’ve had this versa 2 for a month and have never been able to receive text message notifications but my phone calls always work. I have shut down the watch and checked other obvious things but still nothing. Is it maybe the update on my phone is not compatible?

Please let me know what is the brand and model of your phone. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if it receives text notifications properly.
