Versa not recording runs properly

Since I have connected my versa to GPS it doesn't record my runs properly. It doesn't record my distance correctly often saying I have done a miles less than what i have done and records my pace as much slower compared to map my run.... I neve rhad these issues up until I updated my tracker.... How can I rectify this
