Versa not responding

I purchased my Fitbit Versa special edition on 4/26/2018 and today it DIED! I went from 60 something percent battery before I left the house at 8 am to 15% by 2 PM. When I got home from work I put it on the charger at 10% and 2 hours later found that it wasn't charging. The screen was black but still lit up and I could feel vibrations from text messages. I reached out to support did some troubleshooting to no avail... and since I'm outside of the year warranty all I can get is 25% off the price of a new one... first of all, the special edition isnt even an option to purchase with the "promo" 25% link I was given. This watch is barely over a year old!!! And that is all you can give me off as an offer?! Debating if I'll even stick with Fitbit after this experience! Purchased on 4/26/18 (a Thursday)... meaning, more than likely I didnt get it for a few days and with the weekend being in there probably not til the 1st of May so let's call it 14 months. 14 months... something that I paid $230 for should last more than 14 months!

Tiffany, mine also died today, I purchased it March  29, 2018. This is my 3rd Fitbit and I loved my Versa. Not sure that I'll replace it with another Fitbit. I'm so disappointed!!

The versa was my 2nd. And I've always been all for them... but I guess 14-16 months is the life span?! I agree! So very disappointing that such an expensive accessory has such a short lifespan!

Ugh.  I gave in and got a new one today. After hours of researching other smart watches I decided to get another Versa. My sister has the latest Apple Watch and it's just too much money and too complicated.

 

Hoping to have this one longer 15 months.

So did I. After talking to several people who said Fitbit offered them 50% off a new device, I reached back out to customer service to see of they could give me a better deal and they did offer me 50% off. I too started researching other devices and decided with all the accessories I already have, I should just stick with what I had. 

 

Here's to hoping both of ours last, and if they dont, they die before the 12 month mark!!!
