Hello. I've got my versa back in November last year and it started behaving very strange recently:
1. not recognizing workouts automatically as it did before - mainly walks or runs, even though the function is on all the time
2. workouts started and ended manually don't appear on the watch training logs until a number of back and forth forced syncs. They would appear on the app after 1st sync though
3. training dates are all messed up - for example Wednesday training would be showing on the watch as today even though it's Thursday, Tuesday's would be showing as today on Wednesday etc.
4. I also noticed that adding manual training on Tuesday decreased the number of steps on that day by roughly half
I've done few restarts of my watch I reinstalled my app (iphone 7) and nothing helps
Can you advise? thanks

@AmbaXX , it sounds like you are having a number of issues with different causes. In reverse order:
4. A manual log decreases steps: this is expected behaviour. A manual log suppresses the data your Fitbit recorded during the same time period. To restore your steps, delete your manual log.
3. Please check that the time and the timezone are correct on your Versa. If these are correct, then is it possible that your Versa ran out of battery and you began using it again after charging but before you synced? If you run out of battery, you must always sync before recording steps or activities, or they will sync to the day when the battery ran out, rather than to the correct day...
2. This is not unusual. Sometimes some data syncs through to the servers more quickly than other data. You can either wait for it all to sync through, which it should do eventually as long as your Fitbit has actually synced, or you can sometimes speed it up by forcing several syncs.
1. This is the trickiest... I would double check that your auto recognized activities are still set to kick in after the minimum time (10 minutes). You can check this under Account --> Settings --> Exercise tracking. Be sure to sync your Versa after making any changes.
In my experience, "SmartTrack" (auto exercise detection) works pretty well most of the time. However, if it is really important to you that it is 100% accurate, then I would recommend starting and stopping your exercise manually using the "exercise shortcuts" on your Versa. Then you can be really sure that everything is recorded.

I have the same issue for months now. Every time I call them for help their answers are always the same.
"That is actually the issue we are currently having, thank you for your feedback and patience. I promise you it will be solved."
Fitbit has the worst customer care, they clearly don't care about fixing current product's problems. It is useless to call help center to fix. Fitbit said to me to replace my device (resetting on your app on your phone) so I did it, it worked for that moment and same thing kept happening from the next day. Now it only shows on my device if I manually sync my fitbit with app like four times then it works. Such a waste of money and time.
