Since I bought a new phone (iPhone X), my watch doesn’t keep accurate time. I tried removing and uninstalling with no success. What gives?

It's great to see you around @ICU.
If your Versa is not showing the correct time, I recommend making sure the timezone setting is properly set by doing the following from your Fitbit app:
Also, disable the automatic timezone if you have it on.
Let me know the outcome.

@Aspie_SilverFox Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to follow up with the issue that you are experiencing with your Versa since it's still unable to keep the time correct.
Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your tracker internally. After you've done this, sync your tracker and monitor it in order to see if the time doesn't go wrong again.
Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

Time zone is not the problem. It catches up to current time then it stops keeping time

@Fiss thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. By the way, I'm sorry for the late response. However, I would like to follow up and would like you to try the restart process that Is described in the article that I shared in my previous post in order to fix the time issues that your Versa is experiencing.
After this, sync your watch and monitor it in order to see if the restart fixes the issue.
Let me know how it goes! 😀

I am having the same issue. My versa loses about 20 minutes overnight. I have tried everything mentioned so far and nothing has worked. I even tried the reset to factory settings and that has not helped. Any other ideas?

I have tried troubleshooting. I have called customer service and did the live chat. The agent was able to get the watch to sync but after a couple of hours I was stuck with the original complaint. My watch is not syncing and not keeping time.

After 3 phone calls totaling over 2hours I finally learned the reason why my Fitbit Versa keeps losing time (according to the Fitbit techs). It is a software problem for anyone with an iPhone using iOS 13 and newer and has the Fitbit app on their phone. All the Fitbit watches have trouble with iOS 13. The tech said their engineers are working on a solution but could not give me a timeline when it would be ready. And when it is it’s up to to me get it! The tech would not offer a replacement or a refund. In my opinion this is a poor way to treat customers and I hope word of this problem will get out so no one will buy another Fitbit watch until this problem is fixed.

I have been having issues with my Versa losing 20 minutes a day since a software update was installed for my device. I have performed all of the recommendations in this thread and my Fitbit does not synch at all. What gives? I have an Android phone - was working beautifully until about a week ago. ☹️

I am having the exact same problem. I was planning on getting the Versa 2 or three but too many people are having the same issue. In my best interest I may look at a different brand with better reviews. If I get the this one resolved I will update my response.

I was given step by step instructions over the phone to no avail. The fitbit tech finally told me that my new phone Galaxy A11 was not compatible with my fit bit. Thank you for that advice. Just purchased a Galaxy fit watch from Best Buy for $49.99
