I’ve shut off the Versa by holding the buttons until it goes off, and then turning it on again. I’ve turned my iPhone off and back on. I’ve force closed the app and opened it again. But it still won’t sync to the app. Originally it was connected to the app and trying to sync, only it took so long it timed out.
When I turned the Versa off and back on again, it disconnected from my phone’s Bluetooth. Now it won’t even connect to Bluetooth. I’m afraid to try to uninstall it and try to reinstall it, because in the past with my last Versa, it would never reinstall. I ended up having to get a replacement from Fitbit since not even their tech people could make it work. And likewise last time it acted up (after a recent update) when I tried logging out of the app, Fitbit was having server problems and I couldn’t log back into the app or the website.
I’m just not sure what to do now that won’t make it worse?

I don't see any of the versa 2 people having this issue, maybe fitbit could just offer us an update to the versa 2..?

I have this problem too. My versa 2 is effectively useless. I've logged the problem on numerous occasions. It works for a few hours and then nothing. It's very frustrating. I've also done all the steps recommended and it still doesnt work.

Hello.
I have had this issue also. But I unlinked my versa 2 from my phone and re installed it and it works perfectly. I know you said you didn't want to do this incase you can't get it to re install but if it isn't synking with your phone anyway than you might as well give it a try and hopefully it will work for you too.

I agree! Also, if the problem is between iOS and the Fitbit app , why would that prevent the device from connecting to WiFi? I really think it’s just the device. I’ve had a few different fitbit products, one was a blaze, and amazingly once the versa came out the blaze didn’t work anymore. I get the feeling they’re not interested in the regular versa anymore so... yeah, Apple Watch is looking like my next option.

Update got to thinking that maybe this might be an iPhone IOS issue maybe the most resent update caused the problem, so I fired up my Moto G5s with Android 8.1.0 same problem:
ok so still not sure so I charged an old iPhone 5s I have around with IOS 10.3.4 still no joy.
BTW My current phone is an iPhone 6s Plus with latest IOS
(I'm thinking this might me a Versa problem)"
"Well so much for that idea, this company is totally unresponsive to it's customers concerns and needs.
No wonder Best Buy has dropped Geek Squad (extended warranty) support for these devices. I should have know this would happen after google bought into this company.

shortly thereafter is when things started going bad. I guess I'll trash this piece of crap and go for an Apple watch.
