Versa not syncing with Fitbit App on Android

Hello all,

I have seen many posts about this issue and followed the usual instructions on the Fitbit website but can't get a fix anywhere.

I accidently factory reset my Fitbit versa after reconnecting it, it just will not sync. It was fine for one day but it hasn't synced for a week now. Can't get any notifications either. Before I factory reset it, everything worked fine but now it's just a nightmare. Does anyone have a solution?

 

I use a Huawei P20 Pro for my phone and it's all up to date.

@LieLow  Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't syncing with your phone. You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Hello,

 

As mentioned above I have tried all of this and it still doesn't work. I have now reset everything including factory resetting the device and it will work for about 2 days... This seems to be my only solution but I need a permanent fix.
