My Fitbit Versa keeps saying Bluetooth can’t connect, I've tried all the things it suggests. If I delete the app will I lose all my data from previous weeks?

Hi, try the following:
1. first of all do not remove or unpair your Versa during this suggested procedure!!!!
2. Deinstall the Fitbit app
3. Restart your mobile device and wait a few secs
4. Reinstall the Fitbit app and, of course, enable BT
5. Sync your Versa with your newly installed Fitbit app and see if it solved your problem.
Good luck!!

A warm welcome to the Community @Rainbowunicorn and @SunsetRunner thanks for the input.
I was able to see here that our friend @SunsetRunner provided some instructions in order to fix this syncing issue. Was this the answer you were looking for? If it was, I recommend marking the answer given as a solution. By doing this, other users with the same inquiry will be able to find a faster response.
Regarding your inquiry, if you unpair the watch from your account before syncing, yes, you will lose the information that wasn't synced.
If your inquiry/issue wasn’t resolved, let me know and I will be glad to help you out.

Hello!
I'm having the same issue. Removing and re-installing app won't fix it (atleast in my case).
Syncing is again possible if I unpair my watch from FitBit app and tell Bluetooth to forget my Versa.
Then setting it up again from app. BUT...
(Occurred yesterday) When i switched off my Bluetooth, location and data then went for a run and tried syncing again, syncing didn't work. And i had to go through the process mentioned above..
Now won't turn off bluetooth and other services to see if that prevents syncing errors..
(Android 8.0.0 on sony xperia x compact)
Happy syncing! 🙂
