For the past week my versa has been failing to sync. I have contacted fitbit and they say it's a known issue but are not sure when it will be fixed. I have tried all there suggestions of how to fix it including updating the app and my phone but nothing has helped. Has anyone else had this problem or have any idea how to fix it?

Hi @SunsetRunner , unfortunately your phone is not listed in the devices supported by Fitbit as of yet. This does not mean that it will not work with Fitbit, but it's not tested yet and therefore can lead to these kind of problems. In order to get your phone fully working with Fitbit, you will have to wait untill it's supported, which can be realized pretty soon cause it's a popular phone or accept wyas to communicate with it whith far less possibilities. In the case let me know this, regards kuzibri

I understand what you mean however I have had my fitbit since December. It worked perfectly fine with my samsung s 8 and has worked perfectly fine with my s10 plus since I got the phone in june. I have had no problems with it until this latest software update. Looking at the community forum I'm not the only one struggling since the new update which is a shame as it has put me off buying a new Fitbit.

Yesterday I messaged fit bit customer support for over an hour. After trying all there trouble shooting advice they eventually told me that it is a known problem which they are trying to fix. However they are not sure when it will be fixed. They suggested I look out for a Fitbit software update which should fix the problem. I have personally found that when I plug in my versa to charge it syncs the data. It may work for you as well.

Will not sync with Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 or laptop (Macbook Pro). Tried many times, given up now. Wasted so much time. Will just use the watch for stats, what else to do, it won't sync with anything. Very annoying!!!!!

I am having the same problem with my versa. I can only sync by attaching the versa to the charger and connecting it to my laptop.
I have a LG G5

Same thing happen to my Versa too. My last sync was last Wednesday, and I tried to sync it again on Friday but its not working. Then I tried charging it and sync again, this time round they update my stats, but still its not syncing. The app keep on showing device not found. Worst is the time on the watch is getting delay longer and longer up till 90 minutes. Decide to remove the watch from my app and reset my watch and set them up again. But it still can't be sync and hence I can't connect the watch to my phone now. So frustrated with it.

Hi, I have tried every which way to connect, in charger, out of charger, to laptop, to phone. Nothing works. Spent too much time trying to Sync and it simply isn't going to happen. The only way to resolve this is "ditch" the watch and buy another that is NOT a Fitbit. Very disappointing as not cheap but a waste of time if you can't Sync with anything.

Same here...LG G5. Versa synced and stayed synced all day with my messages and phone calls coming though flawlessly. Fitbit updat and sync stinks. Will sync at first after a reset and set up, work for maybe an hour, then no more sync. I hope Fitbit software jocks are on this...I am about to chuck this for another brand.
