Versa not syncing

I have a Versa that was previously paired to my phone. I let it die for a few weeks and just tried to use it today. The date and time are out of sync. Tried to sync it with my app, but was unable to connect the devices. Again, these were synced in the past. The watch was connected by Bluetooth and showing in my paired devices on my phone. 

So I removed the device from my Fitbit app to try to re-pair. Didn't help. Paired on my phone (have unpaired multiple times), but it is still not connecting to the app. When I go through the set up, I cannot get past the "Is your Versa powered on?" screen, even though it is in the charging cradle (and at 100%). Have restarted the app and the phone.

 

Anyone else had a similar issue they've solved?

Try removing the watch from the Bluetooth entries on the phone, shutdown the watch.

Logout of the Fitbit App and restart the phone.

Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices, watches or phones active,

Restart the watch and log back in to the App.

Go to the home screen on the phone, a popup sync notification should appear, click on it and patiently respond to the prompts.
