Versa not tracking hourly steps

I have had my Versa for a few months now and when I am at work I have my HR features turned off and my Fitbit in my pocket since it is food service.

The versa accurately tracks total steps taken but will not count my steps hourly/turn the dot red.

I have tried turning it off and resetting. If I turn the HR settings back on the versa will try to track my heartbeat all shift and give inaccurate results.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Rainym

I am glad to assist you with the issue you're experiencing with your Fitbit Versa not tracking your hourly steps. Thank you for the information that you wear your watch in the pocket during your work and that you have your heart rate monitor turned off. I appreciate your troubleshooting efforts. Thank you for confirming that your Versa is accurately tracking your total steps, however having the watch in the pocket can affect the accuracy of steps tracked since Fitbit Versa is a wrist based device. I recommend confirming that you have the non-dominant wrist setting in the Fitbit app as it increases the sensitivity of step counting. I also would like to confirm if you see that your Hourly Activity Goal is not being tracked correctly on your watch or in the app?

Please keep me posted.
