Versa not tracking my stats

Hello! I have a Versa 2 and last week it prompted me to sync to my phone (which it always has been synced) and possibly update. The following day it stopped tracking my steps. I was able to restart and that day it seemed to be very Sensitive because it tracked me as meeting all my goals, when it had only been tracking for half the day. Next day it wouldn’t track anything. I have restarting it 6 times, because I read that in another post, and have resynced it, but still no tracking. Any suggestions?

Hi @Rocheladastella, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 stopped tracking your steps and data. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved. In the meantime, try a factory reset. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Finally, set up your watch from scratch and monitor it in order to see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
