Versa not tracking steps

I just walked on my Peleton treadmill for 40 minutes and when I checked my Fitbit Versa it shows 0 steps.  I has not tracked steps since last Friday. What is going on?

I am just wondering what causes this to happen and how it can be avoided.

@JaneMFau I have had my Versa for a really long time and it did not happen to me. I had an instance that HR wasnt tracked but it was because the battery ran critically low. My best gut feeling is it was a bug and does not happen often. I would not be overly concerned. Did the reboot resolve the issue? 😄

I have had low steps for one day before when I have walked 40 minutes on the treadmill, this time was different, on Sat and Sun when I had only regular life steps, no treadmill and then Monday when I was active around the house plus the 40 minutes on the treadmill giving me 0.  That is the first time for absolutely 0 steps.  I did reboot and it is now tracking steps again.  I would just like an answer from Fitbit as to why this happened.  The battery has not gone less than 50% in the last week, maybe even month.

@JaneMFau I am glad reboot helped. I cannot answer for Fitbit as I am not working for them. 🙂 I would say a glitch.

@JaneMFau No need to do that if it's working properly. I do reboot my Versa once a week or so though the same I do with my phone. 😄
