Versa not turning on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve had my Fitbit versa for around a month if not two. I went to bed last night with it fully charged and woke up to a black screen nothing has helped to turn it on. The best I got was left it on charge all day and the screen was a light dim (better then a black screen I know) but when I tried to turn it on again it just went black. I really need help!!

Hi @Kjmoy2001, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since the screen won't turn on. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Press the button on the left and see if the display turns on

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I have the same problem. The watch has been on the charger for more than an hour. The only reponse I got from the watch was a brief screen showing the battery at 0 and it went off again. This is a 4 month old watch so dought the battery would need replacing. I will leave it on the charger all day to see what happens. I have 2 chargers (1 was never used) and both have the same response...
