Having the same issue. Tried restarting the fitbit and put it on charge. It last synced at 9am this morning with "Battery Medium" but now just a few hours later it's saying "Battery Empty"
Seems odd that so many people have reported this issue on the same day!

Having this same issue with my husbands Fitbit Versa only says 0% and cannot get it to charge. Chatted with Fitbit and they said battery is gone and will need to replace.
