Versa not vibrating for notifications besides phone calls

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The only time my watch vibrates is for phone calls. It use to vibrate when I got text messages, but it has stopped. Notifications does pop up on my watch, but doesn't vibrate. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. All my notifications are on.

My Versa lite vibrates only part of the time for texts.   It no longer vibrates for emails

@Pumpkin1459, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community and welcome to the forums @CeliaSteele! Regarding the vibration issues that your Versa watches are experiencing, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

Please restart your watches as described in this help article. After this, turn off the notifications, log out of the Fitbit app, restart your phones again, open the app, log in and turn on the notifications again. Finally, monitor your Versa watches for the next 24 hours and see if they vibrate when receiving all kind of notifications.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi @StacieJ, thank you for joining us in this thread. Thank you also for trying the steps listed above in order to fix the vibration issue.

I'd like you to try one more workaround which has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch

Finally, turn off and turn on the notifications and see if your watch vibrates when getting notifications properly.

Let me know how it goes.
