Versa not vibrating for texts and emails

Super frustrated after having no issues for months on my Versa. Now all of a sudden for last few weeks I receive no vibration alert for texts and emails. Calls and test calls are the only thing that go through, no other apps work either. Yes, I am aware of the quick setting and the other vibration setting. App up to date on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Reset Versa, Bluetooth, app, phone. Tried everything. I get alerts to Versa, I just don’t know they are there unless I swipe up.

  • Hold the left button down untill the screen changes. Then check to see if the notifications are turned on. Slide to activate.. Sometimes when you have the watch in the holder or it runs dead you have to this.

That is the correct process to get notifications turned back on. Are you asking a question about that process, or reposting the solution for others?  Sorry if I am being thick.

Where to find the notifications switch? 

Press and hold the left button and i get all my notifications. It drops down a quick setting menu from top,  but no notifications settings. 

Too bad we're can't post pictures in this community.

Please help...

Fantastic easy solution for a very frustrating problem... holding the Back button and seeing that Notifications were turned off. Thank you!

My Versa vibrates for all other notifications and phone calls EXCEPT text messages. I've literally tried everything, and I am getting pretty frustrated. I do not remember the exact instance when the vibrations stopped for the texts, but I'm wondering if it has something to do with the latest update?

I had it working for a while, and with this latest update you 1: have to
sync with your phone more often and 2: have to clear the notifications more
often

I have exactly the same problem. Even after factory reset. All notifications work, including the test notification, but emails and texts do not vibrate - they appear on the Versa but no vibration and no obvious indication, unless I pull down to see them.

Did you try my fix via quick settings on the Versa?  That is the key step.

When i hold down my left button, it only gives me the options for do not disturb, sleep mode, and brightness... i dont have an option for notifcations.... Sleep mode and do not disturb are all off. i have been doing all of the fitbit notification trouble shooting steps all day... finally got texts to come back and appear when i pull them down, but no vibration/notification
