2 days ago my Versa died whilst at work after going swimming to which I thought might have been the battery dying.
After charging it over night, it didn’t come back on. I have since restarted it by holding down the buttons advised on the site.
This rebooted the screen however now the touch screen won’t work and the sensors on the back are not lighting up. Once it had rebooted for about an hour, I got notifications on my phone that I had achieved a new badge...apparently I managed to do enough steps to get me to Japan one day and India the next. Think this may be physically impossible!
Reading online from other people’s posts, this seems to come with more and more problems...seems to me that this device is not actually waterproof at all - not a great product when you work in/around water most days.
Anyone got any advice on how to get the screen back working?

I have a similar problem. My versa is exactly a year old. Just a year and 4 days from when I purchased it. I love the watch. I have swam with it before but when I swam with it yesterday the battery is an issue. It died. It charged fine but died 4 hours later again. Seems the battery is an issue. How can Fitbit assist? Would they replace it? And how long does this process take. I am so annoyed but considering getting the versa 2. However, in the Long run it is turning out to becoming a long and drawn out process. As I purchased it from amazon uk and I’m in SA. it is silly that there are no Fitbit outlets to take it to physically. A long process. Very disappointed.
