not unusual for the temperamental electronic device they call Versa. $199 for buggy firmware that works and then it doesn't and then there is a fix, and then it doesn't. This carousel of aggravation/satisfaction
is getting old. So mods, what's the latest work around? I'm Android 8.0 on a Moto Z.
Good thing Google Fit is reliable, probably going to buy an armband phone holder for 15 bucks and live happy.

@topspin It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
I will assist you with your Versa not working with your phone's GPS. Try refreshing the link between them by going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. You can find additional suggestions here. Once they are syncing retry using the Connected GPS feature.
Let me know how it goes.
