Versa - notification delay (or missing) - "Send a Test Call Notification"

I have new Versa and Sony Z5 Android 7.1.1 (all updated, restarted, enabled,..). All my notifications are delayed (1-8 seconds) or sometimes even missing.

Even if I try "Send a Test Call Notification" from Notification menu it takes 1-5 seconds.

Is it normal ? How long should it take?

Mine has a slight delay also. I think it’s normal. I’m just happy I received them lol.

I'm Ok with dellay in message notification, but not in case of calls... I'm already talking when versa got the notification.. Is it normal?

I am also having the same problem. Delay of a seconds and sometimes the test call times out and thus is never received on phone. 

I have seen that this problem is related to sync. Every time I make a test call the phone tries to sync with the device and because of that whole sync is ongoing the call or other notifications are not sent. The moment the sync is complete the notification is received. 

Why is the sync taking so long and can I disable it or reduce the frequency. Thanks

I've changed the phone from Sony Z5 to Motorola Moto g6 Plus and all the sync problems are gone.
