Is anyone else having the same issue as me? The notifications for text messages and other notifications were working on my Versa. They now keep stopping. I have to then go into notifications on my app and it keeps saying phone restart. I restart my phone and then it works for a while, then it stops again. I should not have to keep restarting me phone every hour for the notifications to work. It seems Fitbit have quite a few small issues with the Versa.

I follows the instructions to try and submit an imagine, using my phone, still no luck. There is not an option to view "Full Site".
Anyways, I have been receiving the notification to restart my phone to enable my phone to receive notifications....several times a day. I have tried all the other troubleshooting options to no avail. It's very frustrating and I would really like to know if there is a solution. I don't want to miss notifications (texts) while I'm on the go.
Thank you!

I'm still having issues with this. I've been trying to talk to someone about it. But haven't gotten a response in over a day now. Sometimes they'll work flawlessly and other times they won't. I'm debating about going back to my Alta until they can replace it because then it's just a tracker, but My Alta is "smarter" at this point now since those notifications were actually flawless.

Hopefully this helps someone with their issues, but I didn't receive a single notification for over a week. I tried all the steps that FitBit has outlined, nothing worked. In the end, the issue was that my clock face needed to be updated.
Once I went into Clock Faces and updated it, I started getting all my notifications again.
Wish the app would tell you there was an update available for your clock face, would save people alot of trouble.

Nothing here is helping this situation with the notifications. It starts working and stops . Only way I can fix it is by reset and erase my whole watch and start over which is annoying because it takes forever for it to restore. Fitbit needs to really look into this .

Wow, after all the research I did on this problem to no avail. Your suggestion worked immediately. Why is there nothing about this in any of the Fitbit documentation. Thank you......

I had my notifications work for about 10 minutes. Since then I haven’t been able to get them to work with my phone. I’ve reset my phone and the Versa, reinstalled the app and made sure all
Bluetooth and notification settings are on and accepting notifications etc. All that has been accomplished from that is that it no longer reads my heart rate either. I’ve since lost the sleep tracking capabilities because of that. Essentially this flaming pile of garbage has been unable to perform the 3 basic tasks I bought it for. Fitbit’s call center and online chat have both disconnected on me before arriving at a solution. I tried to return the device out of sheer frustration and Walmart wouldn’t let me. Hopefully I can get it working again soon or I’m out $250.

Try either going into the fitbit app and going to wifi setup and forgot your wifi.
Or re setup the watch but skip setup wifi, some people can close the fitbit app and others have to keep it open in the background. Mine has worked for well over a month with no wifi setup and the app running in the background

I’ve tried it all. Trust me. Spent almost a whole day trying to wade through all the FAQs and suggestions and advice and customer support to find a solution. I’m willing to admit at this point that Fitbit had a good idea for a device but didn’t put it through the proper quality control before releasing it to the masses.

I tried the suggestion of holding the left button down for 2 sec and that was the issue. It said the notifications were off. Problem something I did without realizing it.

I am having the same problem. I love...loved my versa. Bought in May. I have a Pixel 2 phone. What is happening is that the text and call notifications are not coming through on my Versa. So FRUSTRATING!
I have done the following: (maybe not in the below sequence-I was very prescribed when I tried the various suggested answers)
Restarted phone
Restarted Versa
On/Off Bluetooth
Unpaired-reconnected
Uninstalled/reinstalled Versa App
Made sure vibration was working and all boxes checked on app, phone etc.
Sometimes it would work for an hour....then STOP! UGH!
I have checked phone and versa-for updates, etc.
Help. I want to keep loving it, but at this point the notification feature was part of the reason I selected this watch.
Help
