I was receiving notifications (email, WhatsApp) on my Versa for the first couple of days but it has stopped working for no apparent reason. I have tried all the usual things like restarting the phone and device and changing the settings but nothing seems to work and I don't know what to try next. Please can you help?

My Versa has also stopped notifications. This is one of the two reasons I bought this watch. If it can't be resolved, I'm returning the watch.

I had the same problem but then restarted my fitbit and my phone and it works now. Restart fitbit versa by holding left button and bottom right button until you see fitbit logo and then release. Takes approx 10 sec.

everything on my versa for notifications were working perfect this morning then all of a sudden stopped... call customer care and they informed me that the technicians are still working on numerous issues, syncing, updates, music, apps & so forth... she informed me that they are doing the best they can to resolve the issues at this time, she asked me that we have patience, we will be notified when all issues have been resolved, once they give us the green light, then we will be able to enjoy the full benefits of versa... I stated its pathetic of all the issues & informed her on how allot of people are getting pretty pissed at this, I told her my husband & daughter gave me the versa as a birthday gift on the 23rd of April and still to this day, I have been stressed out with all the BS going on, I told her we knew about the problems, we would have never bought the watch (she did stress out to me numerous times, that the watch is not the issue)... so unfortunately I guess I will need to bite my lip and hold on to my anger & ask for patience until it's fixed, lol

This is so frustrating my mums watch has stopped getting notifications. Mine is working but hers isn’t. I’ve tried resetting it for her. I did a shut down still nothing. So if a call comes through or a text she gets nothing. It says on the site in this community section that problems had been rectified clearly not coz my mums ain’t working. See,s to be a lot of glitches which is very annoying. I e had to come to versa help forum everyday since I got it. I e already had to send my 1st versa back and that was with less than 24 hours of having it. Come on Fitbit get it together.

I just got off the phone with customer care, the problem has NOT been fixed, mention to rep that there was a message it was fine... he said unfortunately we need to be more patient.... I still don't get notifications on watch, nor does it sync, etc which shows cleary they havent fixed the issue... I hope they do rectify this issue soon, got the watch on the 23rd and havent been happy with the issues they are having.. the only thing I managed to do was track my steps and get deezer music on it

Thanx for the update @PROUD-PSW i took to Twitter but haven’t heard anything back. There’s so many glitches. Considering the ionic came out first and the 2 watches are similar bar the versa having built in GPS you’d think the release of this watch would be pretty smooth I guess we’ll continue to play the waiting game

Notifications troubleshooting Someone got back to me on Twitter and gave me a link for troubleshooting. And I’ve got my mums watch working again for notifications. What I did was pushed and hold the button on the left side of the watch (the one that will power your watch on, there’s only 1 button on that side) it will vibrate, then swipe left it will have 2 options one being SCREEN WAKE the other being NOTIFICATIONS. Make sure it says notifications on. If it says off this will be why you are not getting notifications. Hope this works and help solve some of the issues. Good Luck!

FYI I asked if the notifications was quite sensitive and easily turns it self off and in the picture below was the response.
I also asked if they are still experiencing syncing problems for steps in the app. if they send me anything useful that may help I’ll upload it here.

@PROUD-PSW They got back to me about the syncing and they said it’s all been resolved.

sorry I opened your reply on my phone that did not show the picture you attached, my bad... I called back and they said with the issues still happening notifications also will stop... I decided to delete the fitbit app and re-installed it, made sure everything was on, checked my versa watch to make sure everything there was on, and still nothing. I guess I will need to wait until all has been cleared, the more I fool around to get things working, the more discouraged I get, lol...

ready to cry, followed step by step and still a no go... quick question, while in fitbit app, while swipping down to sync, on top of battery I have logo ((.)) with dot in middle, lol shouldnt it be flashing blue? if so mine is clear

OMG called in to fitbit customer care, the rep was amazing... he took the time to do step by step on what to do and guess what, my versa is finally working the way it is suppose to... lol it only took 5 times to call for someone to actually take the time to make me do the right stuff... whoohoo
