Versa only showing Screen Wake / Notification Screen

This screen is always on my Fitbit Versa. I can't get it to go away without holding all three buttons down. This stops my workouts from being recorded, alarms get turned off, ect.

I have tried to restart my Fitbit multiple times and it still does this. I have tried to change my screen wake to manual or auto, and my notifications to on and off and it still pops up and does not go away.

Hello @Jfordyn

If I just tap on the left button I can make that screen go away.

If I hold the left button for a second it appears.

Maybe go to your settings, scroll down to "about" and press shutdown. Then press the left button to restart your Fitbit

Let us know the outcome

Hi, I am having the same problem. Pressing back button or restarting versa does not work. Could you please share what was the solution in this case?

Same issue here. Tried to shut down with buttons and in the about section to no avail. It’s driving me nutty

Unfortunately, my Fitbit is broken but you can try steps for unlocking it I got from the support:

Reset or change the PIN code for your device:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon (User-added image) > your device image (Versa).
  2. Tap Device Lock.
  3. Find the option to change your PIN code.

This is happening with my versa also. The wake screen pops up every few seconds and I can’t do anything else with it. The left “back” button is intermittent also. I have done a factory reset but it still continues.

I just started having the exact same issue. My Versa will buzz and switch the Screen Wake menu on its own and then switch back to the main clock face. Resetting has not fixed the issue either.

A bit of extra info for what its worth, I just reconnected my versa to my wifi network at home, has there been an update of some kind that has bugged our watches?

After I left Versa on the charger for a week or two, the issue disappeared.
🙂 But, the new has emerged. At the end my fitbit was inoperable.
I suggest you contact Fitbit support and try to solve the problem, maybe
something of their solution will work with your Versa.
I got a replacement at the end.
