Versa possibly defective

I have had my fitbit versa since Dec 2018 and it has been great but recently noticed small cracks covering the back of the watch, it hasn't been dropped and the front looks new so so don't know how this happened. Contacted Fitbit and said I have to buy a new watch. I don't want to spend another money on a watch that seems defective and is only going to last a couple of years, so was wondering if any one else had this and if water is going to affect it. Thanks going to wear it till it dies so I can get the most out of it.

This is unfortunate! I'm sorry this happened to you. Fitbit has been terrible to work with for me. It really seems like a $200 watch should last more than a year and a half. I've had lots of issues with my Fitbit - sometimes they fix it and once they replaced it for me but overall it shouldn't be so much work and stress to have a Fitbit. Very frustrating!! Fitbit should do better for you.

Thanks for your reply and I agree that Fitbit should be doing better
especially when the care instructions are followed and the watch still
doesn't hold up. I did my part they should do Their part.
