I've had my Versa for just over a year now and I've had a problem with the LED light/heart rate tracker for the past couple weeks. The light hasn't turned on and it isn't picking up my heart rate. I've tried restarting my Versa, turning off the heart rate, restarting it, and then turning it back on, and updating my Versa but nothing has worked. Anything else I could try that might help?

Hi @mikayla1998, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.
I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since the heart rate sensor stopped working. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. Finally, monitor your Versa and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

I also am having the same problem. It began with the latest update at the end of April 2020. My fitbit LED lights no longer come on, so no heartbeat or sleep is tracked. I have updated multiple times, deleted apps, turned on and off heartbeat on the Versa, reset it multiple times, and finally factory reset it. I have had no luck. Any other suggestions?

I synced my Versa and did the factory reset but now when I try to connect my Versa to my phone it doesn't let me. All my watch says is "To start, download the Fitbit app" which I already have downloaded. In the app I click on Account > Set Up a Device > Versa > Replace Your Fitbit Versa and when it says "Searching for Versa" it later says "Found it!" but never connects to my Versa. I've let it sit for an hour and it never connects.
