Versa's back button not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa 2’s back button works intermediately as does the swipe function. Then sometimes it vibrates because it stops measuring my heart rate. I’ve tried to restart it and I’ve even rebooted the whole watch. What else should I try?

Hi @AmberOldfield, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

Regarding the button, swiping issues that your Versa 2 is experiencing, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I would like you try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, try cleaning around the button with a toothpick in order to remove any dust or moisture that may be affecting the functionality of the button.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
