Versa's battery draining fast

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Unfortunately I am now experiencing the same as many others! My fitbit is dying constantly!

I could get anywhere from 3-5days life from my Versa! I cannot even keep it on 24hrs now. It died 2 nights in a row, so yesterday I charged it completely, took it off charge at 12:18pm, it died this morning around 9:30am. Not even 24hrs on a full charge!

I purchased it in January as my bday present! I’m extremely disappointed 😔

can anyone tell me how to go about arranging it to be looked at/fixed?

@Kleigh07 It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since its battery is not lasting as long as it should.

I'd like you to try the tips that are listed in this help article in order to improve your Versa's battery life. After this, please charge your tracker for 2-3 hours and see if the battery improves.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

Hi JaunJo,

Thanks for your reply! I would like to note that prior to this issue beginning I had already minimised all settings, I don’t have alarms, screen light is set to dim, screen awake time is 10sec and vibrations are normal. My movement reminders are set mon-fri. I only receive text, call and fb messenger notifications. I use a Fitbit issue Watchface. I read the page you directed me to and rechecked my settings.

Despite all of this, battery life is minimal.

Given I spent nearly $300 AU on this product I shouldn’t have to turn off all features just so it works. It completely goes against the point of a smart watch/tracker!!

If you could please notify me on how else I can escalate this issue to have my watches fixed or replaced, that would be great 🙂 thanks again!

Hi. I am having this problem too. Have had my Versa for about six months and have only had to charge it every 5 days or so. Suddenly, in the last week,  it won’t even hold a charge for 24 hours.

Have turned off everything I can and have even done a factory reset. Have followed the advice on this forum. Still no luck.

Please help.

I’m having the same issue. Suddenly my Versa won’t hold a charge. I’ve done everything suggested in the forum, as well as charging for over 2-3 hours consecutively and it still doesn’t hold a charge more than 24 hours.

I'm having the same exact issue! I've only had my Versa for a few months, and now it's not even holding a charge today!. It died last night, so I charged it overnight, and it died within an hour of unplugging!

I contacted Fitbit. Did some battery tests they asked me to do. Then they ended up sending me a new one within a week. They were really good to deal with. Very happy.

I had the exact same problem last week with the battery. Then on Thursday I went swimming like I do just about every Tuesday and Thursday and it totally died in the pool. Came home and tried to charge it and there was water coming out of it! Never had that happen before! I put it in rice over the weekend like Customer Service said to do and it still wouldn't come back on. They are sending me a replacement. There has to be something that Fitbit did to these things that is causing the same exact issue that we are all experiencing at the same time and it needs to be fixed ASAP! This is too much money to be spent on something for it to not work! I've loved my Fitbit trackers, but if this next one craps out on me I'll be looking to another brand.

I agree! Especially since this one is advertised for its water resistance!!
