Versa's screen became unresponsive

My Versa has been working fine and yesterday I noticed that the watch was coming on despite have the manual wake on. I tried to go to settings but the left side of the screen was unresponsive. Then later the screen went black. I put it on the charger and this morning the alarm went off but the screen is still black. Tried hard resets and even changing watch faces via my phone app. Nothing. It vibrates and seems to track steps. Just a black screen. Any suggestions.

Hi @Gils2020, welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding the unresponsive screen issue that your Fitbit Versa is experiencing, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

In order to avoid providing the same information, let me know how the hard reset was performed. In the meantime, try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps listed below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch and see if the display comes back to life

Keep me posted on the outcome.
