Versa's touchscreen became unresponsive

I went to use my fitbit on a walk and noticed i could not move off the clock face, the side buttons work but that does not help me, left, right, up down, nothing. I rebooted the watch, no change, did a hard reset, still nothing. the ONLY time the screen is responding in any kind of way is if a tap it a 3-4 times and the black screen will show the clock face, after the hard reset, i had a couple of click okay buttons i had trouble getting past and after a lot (over a dozen) it registered that i had click and it moved on to the next screen.  i tried different faces in case that was some issue, i had the same face since i bought it in Jan 2019 (not sure if its 1 or 2 years warranty) screens not broken

any thought or suggestions?

Hi @TheHappyHippo, welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding the screen issues that your Fitbit Versa experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via email. I'm glad to hear that a solution was provided.
