Versa screen has gone black

I have had my Versa for approximately 2 years. It started acting strange yesterday...not keeping the correct time. I shut it down and restarted and it started acting right for a few hours.  Did it again so I restarted again...this time it did not come back on...It tried to come on it would give me a gray streaked screen some vibration, but none of it normal.  It has plenty of battery..Ive read and done all that is available for me to do....Therefore...What's next? If it's toast I'm really going to miss it 😞

Hi @lainey29, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't turn on. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.

After this, check out if your Versa's display works properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Their "solution" is to offer 30% off.

The normal life expectancy of a Fitbit is 2 years. Add the extended warranty for about $15 and you may get 3 years out of your disposable tracker.
