Versa screen stopped working

I can no longer swipe the face of my Versa.  If I push the left button it goes to the run option and I can start that but nothing else.  I tried re-starting 6 times but no different.  I can see the output on the app but I can’t change the exercise settings.

@SunsetRunner Have you tried rebooting your tracker by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo appears?

I am also having this problem. I was instructed to do a hard reset a few weeks ago and after finally getting everything downloaded again it worked okay for a few weeks. Now it’s back to not working again.

@hansmith Is the screen black? Are the LED lights ON?

No the screen is not black and the LEDS are working. I can see the time and if I push the left button it goes to the “run” option and it will record a run but I can’t swipe the screen to change any settings, see the heart rate or any of the other exercise options.

Thanks. When you did a hard reset, is that when you push the left button and the bottom right button off and then restart 6 times?

Hi, yes I did that the recommended 6 times continuously.

So I have been dealing with this for weeks and it's getting frustrating. I too cannot swipe the screen. When my alarm goes off I tap the check mark and nothing happens. I've cleaned the device's face and on the backside and I still can't shut off the alarm. The only thing that seems to work is when I push the left button. Other than that, the Alarm won't turn off. When I try to use the timer, the same thing occurs. I push the button to start the timer but I can't get it to start. I'm going to try a hard reset.

Are you using a Versa 1 or a Versa 2? Mine is a Versa 1 so if the alarm
goes of I just push the top right button to switch it off.

I'd be interested to know what happens when you do a hard reset. Have you
seen some of the previous answers that recommend doing it 4-6 times
continuously?

Yes I have.  Any other ideas?

So if nothing works to reset it, what do you recommend?  Will Fitbit replace my Versa?

I guess that depends on how old it is. Mine's about 4 or 5 years old so
they won't replace it.

@SunsetRunner are you sure you have Versa? Versa hasn't been around for 4-5 years.
