Versa screen went black.

I have had my versa for about 2 years. Never had any issues. A few days ago I woke up and the screen was black. It still syncs. Still counts steps etc... But no screen. I have tried the 3 button reset to no avail. Nothing happens. No Fitbit logo, not vibration. Nothing.  I tried letting the battery run out and recharged it. Sometimes I can see the backlight come on, and the green light in the back flashes just like normal. I have read through some others but have not seen any other suggestions besides the 3 button reset. Any other ideas?

And the worst thing about the discount is that it is not applicable to Versa 3. So we would to buy Versa 2, which is already a year old and possibly face the same issues again next year!

Thanks, but I've already been through it with Customer Support.  All they did was offer a 35% discount on a new product.  A quick search through the forums reveals major problems with all of your products seemingly failing to last more than two years.  I've had a Charge 2 and 3 and neither lasted two years (the 3 was replaced because it initially failed within the first year).  I just can't justify spending more money for a product that isn't going to last with a company that apparently doesn't think they have a problem.  I absolutely loved both Charges and was ready to move to a Versa, but I just can't continue with Fitbit.

Hi, welcome to the Community forums @scubasue

Thank you for confirming you're having the same inconvenience with the display and that you already tried the restart.

Thank you for sharing your feedback @PalakSP @Daveg144, I'm sorry to see that it was possible to obtain a replacement option due to warranty limitations.

Let me know if you have further questions.

I am also having the same issue. I tried the two and three button reset. Still nothing. My phone shows it is charged at 100%, so it must be on. I just can't see a thing.

The same exact thing happened to me a week ago! I'm desperate to get it fixed, it vibrates for my alarm, but I can't turn it off, the screen is black, I've tried everything..

I just woke up to mine doing the same exact thing. The lights are flickering on the back but the screen is black and unresponsive.
