Versa screen went black

Having issues with my Fitbit versa 

This weekend the screen went black. I did a hard set as I read there had been several of the same issues.  Yesterday after the hard reset I only get a dark screen.  I have only owned the Fitbit for 6 months.  This is the first time I have had issues. Has there been an software update recently?

Suggestions?

@Ljp072608 it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response. However, I would like to follow up with the issue that your Versa is experiencing since its display is not turning on. By the way, thank you for restarting your watch before contacting our forums.

 

Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains the restart process but you can skip it since you already tried it. After this, change the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.
