I have a versa smartest that went to a blank screen can’t see anything on it. I’ve pressed the buttons and I only get blank screens. Why? What do I do? I’m in the middle of finishing a challenge. Please advise. Thanks, Frankie

You aren't alone my friend. See this post for others in the same boat https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Smartwatches/Versa-black-screen/m-p/4325062#M197087

I've only had to charge my Fitbit versa to 100% about 6 times since support reached out to me last Thursday and I haven't heard anything back since. So I wouldn't hold your breath

This issue has affected thousands of Fitbit users and Fitbit refuses to accept responsibility.  Maybe if we start a social media campaign making others aware of how they treat their customers they will do something.  I personally never had an issue until the update just over a week ago. #fitbitsabotagestheirwatches

@J9schulte I think this is a great idea. Like the hashtag too #fitbitsabotagestheirwatches. How many more people are going to need to post in the community about their defective devices before Fitbit takes responsibility. I reached out to CNET and they have a reporter that is going to consider the story and look into it. More to come!

This was my tweet.  I don’t tweet, but I think I got the appropriate tags.

So... @Fitbit did an update which caused thousands of watches to develop a black screen. @FitbitSupport refuses to acknowledge their part in this and is only offering a discount on replacement watch. Unacceptable @Fitbit! #fitbitsabotagestheirwatches

I will try and add CNET to tweet as well! Awesome idea!  I am not very techy, but willing to learn.
