My versa screen is not working, fit it hasn't died as still vibrates and connects to the app however doesn't show anything on the watch screen. Have tried restarting.

Hi there @BethEarn, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about your Versa's screen behavior and for taking the time to restart it prior to posting here.

Since your Versa is still vibrating and syncing, try changing the clock face to a different one by following these steps : How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?. The steps are done through the Fitbit app, do not worry if you cannot see anything on the screen for this process.

Give this a go and let me know how it goes.

The same thing is happening to me so I change the clock face and it did not change anything. My Fitbit is able to sync track my steps to my sleep scores but the screen is black and I’m unable to see anything even once I change the clock screen.

The same thing happened to me. I've tried restarting and doing a complete reset, but the Fitbit logo never appears. The screen will get a little bit lighter, but nothing is visible. I also tried removing the app from my phone and reinstalling, but since I can't see anything on my screen, I can't get that to work, either. The battery has been draining quickly, as well; sometimes I have to charge it twice a day.

my versa screen did the same thing night before last. Had a full battery (98%) just all of a sudden my app couldn't locate device & my watch was just a black screen. I tried restarting &  resetting it but nothing happened. Its done this 4 times now & before the restart would turn it back on but not this time. My app now shows my device but watch screen still just black & when i put it on it isnt tracking anything to sync to app. I try syncing  it & its unable to sync.. My watch is barely over a year old & I'm wondering if I should have just bought something better in the 1st place as this keeps happening. Any help getting it restarted would be great.

I tried the complete reset and now my Fitbit is completely dead. I have it on the charger but when I take it off it’s so dead the hr monitor won’t even light up green. I’m floored. I’ve had zero issues with this watch and now it’s just gone in under 24 hours.

Same! It's just dead.

I haven’t found an option. I’ve got it on the charger but it’s still dead as a doornail. I’m super frustrated.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion, fitbit has now stopped syncing so will not allow me to change the clock face either.

Thanks,

Beth

My Versa 2 is working on the app but I have a blank screen and then lots of vertical lines. It did an update on the software this morning. I have attempted to change the click face with a negative result. Please advise.

As an update to any following this chat, my support ticket resulted in a 35% discount on a new device, to which I said no thank you. There's no reason in the world that my watch just blew up like this out of the blue with no issues. I'm pretty angry right now.

This is the 2nd time I’ve had a major issue with my Versa2 and I only bought it in November. However, Fitbit and Amazon have been excellent and have replaced it each time. But frustrating nonetheless.

This is happening to me too. I’ve tried changing the clock face, restarting, and factory reset. One time I was able to restart then the next day it is black. It syncs, alarms go off, but can’t see anything but a black screen and can’t turn off alarms. Attempting to reset but the logo never appears. Help! I love my Fitbit and miss it already.
