The display on my Versa started to flash this morning and then went completely black.
i have tried a restart but nothing, the screen glows slightly but no display as such.
i have also tried to change the clock face but no luck with that either.
It is still syncing to my iPhone and charging.
Moderator Edit: Clarified subject
Same for me I bought my versa 2 early July now screen is flickering with no way to get usual information and fitbit is claiming 50 m depth water resistant :(((
Best AnswerI got in touch with fit bit and after having me try a few things agreed my fit bit is defective. They gave me option of replacement or 50% off a newer model.
The color for replacement is very limited but I went with that.
I am pleased with their response so far. When I receive the new one I will be a satisfied customer despite the hassle.

Best AnswerContact fit bit customer service for an on line chat. They will ask you to try a few things and hopefully replace if they can't fix it.
So far I have a new one on the way.
Best AnswerI got in touch with them as well. Said they would replace. Only had it for a year. Starting to think its time for the new versa just waiting to see if there's any kinks first.
Best AnswerI had an issue with my Versa, and I had it replaced in July.....yesterday my screen went black and won't display anything. Unfortunately, now I'm out of my 1 year. I'm done with fitbit. I got a new fitbit every year, and every year they have to send me a replacement. I'm so upset. I think looking at this, maybe it was an update that killed these screens. I know fitbit doesn't, because they make so much off their faulty products. They offered me a 35% discount on a new fitbit, but I know that would probably die as well.
Best AnswerHopefully, you’re still under warranty. Fitbit honors it’s one year warranty faithfully. I don’t know why I kept trying these fitbits. I’m sure I’ve had 6 I’ve the last 3 years because I always have to have them replaced within the first year. Thankfully, my job reimburses me when I purchased these. Fitbit, you are screwing your customers and it’s sad. Got the update, heart monitor started acting funny than the screen went black. Now I can’t even tell if it’s on or dead. No lights working on it at all.
Best AnswerOut of warranty unfortunately as I purchased it in August 2018.
Sounds like it is lucky to have lasted as long as it did.
Battery is still charging and still syncing so still using it for now although battery life has reduced dramatically since screen stopped.
Currently weighing up the options to replace it, I was thinking of getting a Versa 3 anyway but now not sure if I will stick with Fitbit.
Best AnswerHi Alec,
Same thing happened to my versa. After shutting down 3 times and the screen went black, I couldn’t start the watch. The battery charge was full although battery life is significantly low. I purchased this watch on August 2018 and bought extended store warranty too which is good till 2021. I took my watch back to the store and they could not give me a clear answer. I ended up getting a new Versa 3. I should have waited for them to give me an answer after the technicians in the store checked.
