Versa screen went dark

My Versa screen went dark a few days ago but it is still sending info to the phone and we have tried the reset function and the factory reset function with no success. Called fitbit customer service and they were not able to help. I'm hoping that someone on here might be able to help me with this problem. Thank You in advance.

My Versa just went dark around 11am EST this morning randomly after working just fine for over year since I purchased it! So I contacted Fitbit’s customer service and I chatted with Bryan from customer service and he pretty much told me that there was no way of fixing it and told me to just buy a new one! So my year old Versa that I spent $230 on is now worthless with no way of fixing it because they do not offer a repair center!! Not a happy loyal customer and I plan I continuing to contact them and try to see if there is a problem do to there recent updates! Please post if you find out information! This can not be a coincidence that our Versas just both randomly go dark at the same time!!!

I'm sorry to see that you've experienced this same trouble with your Versa. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and experience with this. Comments from users are always useful to continue to improving the quality of products and services. I've noticed that both have contacted out support team and they provided you with options according to your warranty information. 

 

Please keep communication open with them, they will keep assisting you with any other inquiry according your options.

My versa went dark too, I charged it, nothing 😩 my alarm still goes off, so I know it is working, just nothing on the screen. Idk what to do, someone please help!!!! I pay 230 for the thing I have even have it for a year yet 7 months to be exact! Now it won’t work.

@Daysha39 I'm sorry for the late response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit forums.

 

Since your Versa's screen is not turning on, I'd like you to restart it as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the screen turns on.
