Hey all,
Since 3-4 days ago, my Versa is going from 100% to dead in maybe 24-30 hours. I have it for 3 months now, and everything was allright (charging once in 3-4 days) till three days ago. Does anybody had this problem and know a solution?
I did not do other things with my Versa then I normally do.
I tried another clock face, (not a weird one just a basic) I have no weird apps running, don't listen to music, I tried a factory reset. What can be the reason of this very strange suddenly batterylife-change?
EDIT: I did swimming a couple of days ago for the first time with my fitbit. Can that be the reason? 😕
(but I think if my Versa isn't good water resistant it would be completely dead instead of the short battery life)

Yes! This is exactly what happened to me too. Bought as soon it a few months ago and it now dies in 24 hours. I took it off the charger it had 100% charge and wore it all day it was at 80% after 8hrs, I took it off for bed did not charge it and it was dead in the morning.

Yes! And this morning I charged, it was 100% but I let in in the charger for 1 more hour. I didn't help... 😞
It's now on 63% after barely 10 hours of wearing...

I have emailed Fitbit and am waiting for a response. I am sad because I love this fitbit and it is part of my everyday. I am missing it.

I've had this also start happening, however, I have not worn it swimming or in the shower.
Overnight it went from 100% to 30% and I was not even wearing it. I did a complete factory reset, I had turned off All day Sync, Keep Alive, Vibration is set to low, display brightness to low as well. Flare watchface which has no extra information to sync.
Something is really wrong to drain the watch battery this way.
I've noticed that the heart rate reading is also around 125 bpm just sitting at my desk.

Really weird! It should not be nessesary to have all your settings like that, if it was all good before.
Mine is now 54%, I don't think it will reach next morning without charge.. so maybe the battery lasted 21-22 hours today.. 😞

Update... it's dead. My versa doesn't charge anymore since this morning. It says and stays 0% when I put it in de charger 😞 I'm going to send it back to the webstore.

Oh no!
I pulled mine off the charger fully charged but it was telling the wrong time. The last time it updated it was almost dead so that what was registering was that it was almost dead so it was not letting me fix or update anything.
I received a response to my email...I have been advised it's me not the product because I am using it too much. I have no apps on it and have not changed my usage at all. It went from charging every 3-4 days to every 12 hrs. It doesn't last 24hrs anymore.

I turned everything off and tracked the battery.
On the watch, Notifications, Heart Rate, Hourly Steps all off, and brightness set to low with manual display instead of lifting arm.
On the phone, I turned off All day sync, Reminders to move, Quick View, Always Connected and Keep Alive
Here were the battery results:
Friday July 20th 8:00am 100%
Turned off EVERYTHING.
Friday Night July 20th 11:55pm 55%
(Left on desk overnight, did not wear it to bed.)
Saturday Morning July 21st 8:30am 29%
Saturday July 21st 1:00pm 11%
Died sometime after that.
Something is very wrong! I hope it's a software issue that can be addressed. I've opened a ticket with support.

Yep, same here. Worked like a charm for a couple of months and now the battery goes from 100% to 0% in less than a day and a half and seems to be getting worse. I upgraded from Blaze (excellent battery) to Versa confident in the 4+ days claim and didn't go with the Apple watch due to its daily charge need.
Full factory reset, default clock face, quick view off, all day sync off - no difference seen.
What is the official response? What do we need to do to fix?
😞

Same here. Just started being an issue over last few days. Example: Charged to 99% 22hrs ago. I don't use all day sync, always connected, or keep alive widget, and my versa is set to dim display setting. Was orange/medium charged by evening and this morning it is displaying as "empty" on both versa and phone (6%). My husband's versa is NOT doing it and we both use it about the same.
Haven't tried factory reset yet (my next try based on comments here), but this is really annoyong 😞 I always loved Fitbit for their good batteries

My Versa came to life again. Now it charge again and I did a factory reset for the second time but the battery life is now around 10 hours. I don't know if I will send it back to the seller. I think they're going to say something like 'it works so what's the problem' they're not going to read all this messages on the forum. Actually I still hope it's something like a software thing which can be fixed by an update. It's so coincidental that there are so many messages and topics on this, all started last week. There are some official Fitbit comments on it, saying things which can save battery like 'all day sync off', but that's nonsense since nobody of us do other or weird things with our Versa. I by the way, nothing of that helps.

Update: I got a replacement from the store where I bought it.
It works like a charm again. Same settings etc. But I hope it will not happen again after a few months....

I have to charge mine every other day.... very frustrating!! I charged it yesterday afternoon and by noon today it was below half!! I have reset it, turned it off, let the battery go all the way down and fully recharged it.... no change! Getting ready to contact Fitbit support because when I bought it, the sales lady said it should hold a charge for 4 days!!!

Contact Fitbit support. My first versa would only last about 12 hours but my replacement Versa lasts 4-5 days.

I got into custimer support at Fitbit and also sent them a DM on twitter. They tracked my watch on the Fitbit app and I got sent out a new watch last week. On the form you fill out before they send out or watch they will ask where you bought it from, them or a shop. Worth a try or bring it back to the shop you got it from. The watch should last over 4 days
