Is the original Versa special addition (not Versa 2 or Versa 2 se) compatible with Spotify?

The original Versa and Versa Special have music controls and can control most music players on your phone. 

Their is a Spotify app which is in addition to the regular music controls. 

Go to the Versa settings. Apps, All Apps, search for Spotify.
