Hey there, @Poolmanmike! Welcome to the Family! Great to see you again @NellyG.
Thanks for restarting your Versa and for following update directions. You did a great job troubleshooting your Fitbit, so let's try a couple of steps that might help to bring it back to life.
How old is your Fitbit? I'd suggest to clean the contacts of your Versa. These contacts can become obstructed with the time by microscopic dirt or debris that prevents them from making a good connection to the charger. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean the charging contacts, do not scrape them with anything metal because this may damage the plating and result in corrosion.
Please try to restart your it again. How are you changing your Fitbit? We recommend plugging your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or other low-energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your tracker. Did you have issues before with the charging cable?
Please take a look of these recommendations to charge your Fitbit too.
Let's give it a try and please keep me posted.

By any chance did you take it swimming?

I am struggling too with my Versa. I changed the watch band on Thursday. Wore it to the gym Friday with no issues. Saturday I tried to do an update and had to stop the update before finished. Went to the gym and the screen stopped working. I reset it once and the screen worked for a minute or two. Since then the edges have a lightness around them but nothing on the screen. I have attempted the factory reset twice with nothing fixed. I have owned my Versa for @1.5 years. Thanks for your guidance.
