I did the last update on my Fitbit Versa, and I first noticed that battery wasn't holding charge like it used to. It use to last me 4 days before I needed to charge, but all of a sudden I needed to charge it every day or it would die. Now today, it's not even working. Placed on charger and the screen is black and the sensor light on the back is on, its nonresponsive all together

Seems like this is quite a common issue. following the recent updates, as it was working fine before.

In which case its probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

I have the Fitbit Versa 2 and mine has done almost the exact same thing about 2 weeks ago. I've done all the YouTube tricks, and its still completely dead/black. Were you able to find any solutions?

No solution. Reached out to Fitbit and was basically told I was screwed...

Offered me a discount for a new one, but needs to be purchased within 30 days. I'll go elsewhere if this was the only available option after it messed up after their update!

Don't give up just yet. If the sensor lights are on it may still be working.

There could be one of 2 problems - a watch face problem, or a watch software problem.

If its still syncing - try changing the clock face in the Fitbit App to a standard Fitbit one such as Layers

If you can't do that try a restart of the watch with the buttons - this will clear any watch software problems, and try the clock face change again.

Why is your watch dead?

Is it flat? - try charging it.

Is it charging? - Have a look at the suggestion posted here for isolating watch and charge state

Is it off? - try a restart of the watch with the buttons

Did you factory reset - then it could well be dead, as that operation doesn't always work, there is a bug in it?
