Versa has now failed to register three runs. It was working perfectly until about four days ago and now despite unpairing, pairing, fixes, changing settings etc. I am stuck with an unreliable and frankly useless piece of plastic on my wrist. No maps, no messages, nothing. It tells the time and that's about it. I have a Huawei phone and it's worked fine for months so please don't tell me it's not on the list. Fitbit, either give me a solution or give me a refund so I can shop elsewhere.

Hi, try updating your Fitbit app. After that restart your Phone, restart your Versa and start Fitbit app again and synchronize. See if that solves your problem. Regards kuzibri

I don't know who voted for this as an accepted solution because it doesn't work.

Hi, maybe you did it yourself by accident, happens sometimes. You can verify this by pressing the three dots on the upper right corner of your accepted. If it was you, there will be the possibility in the list that opens when you press the three dots "this is not the solution". Press that and the action is undone. Regards kuzibri

I can't even get this website to work! I flagged it to a moderator so they can sort it for us 🤣Any other ideas? I went for a run again tonight and it tracked my steps and heartrate but nothing else! It even showed messages on my watch but no maps and it didn't upload to Strava. I'm trying to train for a 10k and this is not helping!!!

Hi @Pingette46 and @Skyc. It's good that the community is growing. @SunsetRunner, thanks for helping our friends, you're great! I'm sorry for my delayed response, and let me continue helping you.
@Pingette46 and @Skyc, thanks for letting me know that your Versa's devices aren't syncing, and appreciate any step that you've tried prior posting. As you may know, there are certain factors that may affect how your Versa connects with the Fitbit app, for this reason please make sure of the following:
If those conditions are met and your Versa is still unable to connect, let me know the error message displayed in the Fitbit app. Also, provide me with your phone's model and OS version so I can further investigate.
@Pingette46, by the way, I've removed the accepted solution from your post per your request. Thanks for the heads up!
Keep me posted.

So I have been having problems for over a week now, initially with the Versa not charging, draining the battery quickly. Managed to resolve that, but it wont sync now and I have missed lots of activities. I have no other devices bluetoothed to my google pixel 2xl, it has the latest updates both for android 10 and fitbit update from 4days ago the watch is on its cradle charging and the phone is actually touching it. The phone can see the watch but cannot pair with it. I have deleted it from my fitbit app on my phone and have tried adding, have reset both devices, Location is activated on phone for fitbit and Fitbit is all. No error msg is displayed other than "Not working? -Make sure your Versa is charge......."
Please advise,
Also, I have just now managed to add my versa back onto my account via the Windows App, but still cannot sync watch to phone....I dont use my windows computer most days.

Hi, I have a Huawei P20 which is fully up to date (oreo I think?) No error messages on phone or watch. The watch would normally auto track and log runs then upload to Strava but that is not happening and it tries and fails to connect when tracking manually. This has been happening for at least a couple of weeks and I am losing valuable data.

There is no error message. Just not syncing. Using ios12.4 on iPhone.

Hi, another run not logged and have just uninstall Ed and reinstalled the versa (yawn). When I checked to see what the problem was this time I noticed the watch was not connecting with the phone? It actually said 'no device found' and had not synced since about 11am today?. Seriously, I am losing valuable data and my patience. If this isn't going to be fixed then refund me for the watch and the time I have wasted trying to fix it.

My Versa lite won’t sync in real time either, which means that messages, weather or runs won’t sync. I’ve tried all the steps without any results. Not sure what else to do. Enough people seem to be having this problem that it seems like it must be a device or app issue.

I've been having this problem as well. I had a FitBit Blaze which I loved! It stopped working and I got a FitBit Versa Lite and I'm not a fan. It doesn't register flights of steps (going up steps), just decides to stop syncing for no reason and isn't as accurate as the Blaze for steps and activity. Beyond being waterproof, there isn't a huge benefit to the Versa Lite. FitBit knows about the not counting flights of steps and has done nothing about it (beyond suggesting the usual). It's exasperating!!!!!

Thanks for this summary of “Fitbit not syncing”. You mentioned watching out for other Bluetooth devices.
This happens to me every now and then when I turn on my iPad’s Bluetooth to play my airpods.
However, I almost always sync my Fitbit to my iPhone, and when both Bluetooth devices are on, the Fitbit won’t sync - the app can’t find the watch.
To solve this, I turn off Bluetooth on my iPad, and sometimes have to close the Fitbit app on my iPhone. Restarting the iPhone Fitbit app, it syncs immediately. If you want to be able to use Bluetooth on the other device (which might ALSO be running Fitbit) shutdown the Fitbit app and turn Bluetooth on again. This ought to be OK.
So yeah, check for other Bluetooth devices conflicting with the Fitbit app - often!

I thought about that and checked but nothing else is around to interfere with the Bluetooth? Thanks for the suggestion though and I will check again if I don't just decide to give up!

Carried out a full factory reset at the instruction of customer support and it worked for a couple of days. Since then I have had to re pair the watch with my phone numerous times! This isn't what I paid for and is not what I expect. What exactly are Fitbit planning to do about this issue as I am not receiving much in the way of customer service regarding this issue
