Versa will not pair with iphone

I am having trouble pairing my Versa and my iphone 8+. It was connected for several months but disconnected after the new iphone update. Not sure if that is a coincidence or if it’s what caused it. I have tried every troubleshooting solution listed including turning the watch and/or phone off; turned bluetooth on and off about 30 times. Forgot the versa; rebooted, set to factory settings, etc. etc. Any combination or order you can think of I tried.  It won’t connect to bluetooth or wifi although it did connect to each once but then wouldn’t finish pairing. I actually got the Versa up and running once but couldn’t connect with wifi so it wouldn’t do an update. Then it wouldn’t reconnect with bluetooth to sync. I am sitting 2 ft from my router and no other bluetooth device is enabled. It just will not connect to my phone. I understand the order of troubleshooting steps is important. If there is a solution please list a step by step that includes the order of when EACH thing is enabled eg. phone turned on, bluetooth turned on, Versa turned on, etc. Every list I’ve found is missing steps and that may be the issue. Thank you!
