Just got done with customer service and mine is finally working...I uninstalled app and so i had to readd my device

Turn off bluetooth and log out of fitbit app

reboot phone

restart fitbit

once back on turn bluetooth back on

find fitbit and unpair or forget device

then try to set up again

That is what worked for me and hope it will work for you 🙂

I was having the same issue. I used shutdown in settings on the Versa, then restarted. It finally synched to the iPhone app after I did this. More specific: Swipe to Settings, then scroll down to About, then scroll down to Shutdown, then restart by holding down left button.
