Versa will not turn on

I shutdown my versa because text messages were not coming through and now it won’t turn back on.  I did the latest update a few days ago.  I have tried putting it on charger and it will not do anything at all.  Help!!!!

My Versa battery dropped significantly and was at 1%, so I put it on the charger and nothing is happening. Won’t turn on or charge.
