Versa with Galaxy Note 8?

Just wondering if anyone is successfully using the Versa with a Note 8 since it's not on the list of supported devices.

No, unfortunately not. I have given up for now, way too frustrating. I am
using the Versa as a tracker and really nothing else.

Yes.....do a factory reset to the Versa.

No never able to fix. I returned the Versa. Odd thing is I had it synced
until I deleted old account and tried to set it back up. From then on it
was a No Go.

Many people are having the same issues. Some are lucky enough to set up
but they're not fully able to sync things etc.

Until they get the bugs out, I won't buy another one.

I have a Samsung Note 8. Now they haven't tested my phone with Versa. I
just returned the Versa until they get the kinks out.

However, I thought the Samsung Galaxy 7's were compatible.

Hopefully this link will allow you to see what they've actually tested with
the Versa.

Me personally, think they rolled this new Versa out before doing all their
due diligence to have the newer phones compatible with it.

I love the look and how it felt, but this was a bit ridiculous.

I tried everything from resetting and anything possible that could be
thought of (even from the so-called experts at FitBit) and nothing worked.

I returned it til the bugs are worked out.

I don't know about you but I couldn't get mine to even install and it
wouldn't work. Until FitBit gets the bugs worked out - yes - I won't get
the Versa again. Sad too because it is the best looking FitBit to date.

I think they rolled it out without all the bugs and devices tested which
has cause numerous problems even as you're saying. Many people have them.

Well I couldn't even get it to install/set up so I returned. If I could
have used as just even a watch I'd have kept it but couldn't. Hope they
get it fixed soon.

It's been a couple of months since you got your Versa so I'm wondering if you had any problems with it and your Note 8?  I had the Charge 2 and could never get my text messages or calls to sync with it.  Does the Versa sync with your Note 8?

Did you ever get this to work?  I've had two Fitbit Charge 2s and could never get my messages to show up on them.  I'm considering getting the Versa.  Does it work?

I never could get it to sync properly. I ended up returning the Versa. Hopefully they will get all the kinks worked out in the near future.

I've been using the versa with my note 8 for about 2 months and it works great. Everything syncs correctly, I can get my texts and messenger messages and reply to all. Occasionally my texts quit showing up but I go into settings and turn off and back on and they start working again.

No, my Note 8 is NOT compatible with the Versa. I was communicating with a fitbit CSR and he said they do not have compatibility yet.  Scratch my head... this baffles me!  Wouldn't Fitbit make sure their product which is around $200.00 would be compatible with all the popular phones currently being used?  It's not like Samsung is a fly by night,  obscure phone which only a handful of people own.  

My Versa, which I really want to like, will not stay synced to my phone.  It is extremely frustrating that my Fitbit HR,  which is several years old is compatible with my phone but the new Versa isn't.  Makes no sense to me.  

I guess I will have to return it and select another product which will work.

I've had the versa working with the note 8 since day 1. I'm sorry you're
experiencing problems but it's compatible with it.

I get notifications for everything except text messages. That part I don't
understand.🤨 If it weren't for the challenges, I would return it in a
heartbeat.

It is very frustrating!! I really like my phone and was impressed with the
Versa. If you find one that works please let me know.
