Versa won't charge

When I put the wash in the charger, it starts charging, but after a minute or two it stops. I press on it or take it out and put it back in and then it will start charging again. After doing this many times I can get 100% charge, but I can't just put it in and leave it like I should be able to. 

Does anybody have any ideas?
